Dev was born in Gillingham, Kent in the latter half of the Seventies and has achieved precious little since. Initially displeased with his lack of accomplishment, his outlook has since been improved by following the teachings of Bartholomew Simpson, electing to be an "underachiever and proud of it."

Of late he has managed to convince himself his time is well used in a creative fashion, although how long he can maintain this illusion is uncertain.

A former student of Gravesend Grammar School for Boys and a drop-out of Aston University in '96, he has spent much of his time since extensively researching the mediums of television and cinema whilst supplementing the £25 he received as an award for successfully completing a local newspaper's weekly crossword with a series of jobs within various trades. He hopes one day to become a millionaire playboy but failing that, he'd like to work in a comic-book store in Redbank, New Jersey.

It was during these years that she found and then later squandered the lost treasure of the Sierra Madre (although it might just have been a piece of grit) but at least she got to see something of the world, including Middle Earth. After 2 years of bumming around she realised she yearned for something quicker-paced and more cut-throat, so she moved into television production and has been fighting for her life ever since. She is a competent archer and her swordmanship - learned from Aragorn, Jack Sparrow and Achilles - serves her no use whatsoever. She now lives by herself in North London in an attempt to never have any money. Ever. And it's all going according to plan. Until she changes her mind. Again.
